Well what do you want. It is a Mario platformer, it isn't going to be a 40 hour long RPG. It is going to be 12 hours. Which is decent, and comparing one console to another isn't fair since they have different terms of power. How would you like it if I deducted points from Warhawk since its motion controls isn't as good as let's say Metroid?

@dtewi: your point is completely rational, unfortunately reviewers aren't. I have seen countless reviews where a Wii game is marked down for not looking as good as a PS3 or XBox360 game but have never once seen a game marked down because it didn't handle as well as a Wii game. For instance, can you really see anyone marking down an FPS because it doesn't aim as well as Metroid? Didn't think so...

Gran turismo... your in luck, mario galaxy was delayed BECAUSE miyamoto thought it was a tad 2 easy and SO they made it HARDER... your difficulty concerns won't be a problem...

Bingo, they do that for any Franchise that does not do someting completly new and awsome, unless it does it, bet on it to be docked. That and its so danm hard to get into the top 10 these days, with all the little review sites wanting attention with lower reviews. I think its easily possible though, just needs to be "Something new and KICK ASS"

                 With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.

it needs 95.5%. I dont think it will quite make it. i reckon 93% overall.

They do take side quests into account as long as they are genuine sidequests (as I consider most stars to be) as opposed to the type of sidequest that is basically playing through the game again. Well I think they do anyway?

Oh and IGN does not agree about the graphics thing 

"This is one Wii game that can proudly stand next to the best-looking Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 games."

Personally I think (and Im guessing IGN does too by the fact that they wrote that) that Art > Polygons. Of course a large number of people probably disagree but in my opinion the game looks absolutely beautiful.

I think it can gnab a spot in th etop 10. It looks awesome so far, and the entire gameplay experience is very unique.
