Shiren is the one that interests me. Dont know when it arrives over here.

Any game that is even remotely your genre should be worth 9.99 USD.

I Agree, I've been waitin for Shiren 3 a long time. We should thank Atlus. It's One of my most anticipated games this year.

I do wish they would bring Shiren over. It would make Wii the most hardcore console by default :P

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Baroque is very hit-or-miss: some people love it, others don't. It's one you're going to have to play for yourself.

Chocobo's Dungeon has a good reputation, but I can't comment on it at the moment, as it's on my backlog.

Complexity is not depth. Machismo is not maturity. Obsession is not dedication. Tedium is not challenge. Support gaming: support the Wii.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.

people would hate this game, i know i hate this game thanks to no save thing - it's just cruel when you spend 70hours on one character and enter stage when you're literally fucked and can't escape(this game is frustrating and i already see how revievers woud call this game broken for it eventhough that's the main point of Shiren games since the first one). is Atlus bringing itto US/EU? if yes they have to make an easier difficulty if they want to sell decent number of copies.

I love the Saturn but could not bring myself to get Baroque from all the reports I received -- even a used returnable Gamestop copy.

Conversely, I have FF:CD and it is an enjoyable romp.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

Baroque, I would give a pass, the way the story unfold is a mess, it's short and you can't take you time and explore because you slowly lose HP by just being in the dungeon, annoying.

FFF is fun, not extremly hard but long.

Atlus is bringing Shiren to the US, Q1 2010 I think.

Final Fantasy Fables is fun. The most notable thing about it is the music though. I'll be trying baroque out soon.

Baroque is not short. Maybe the first playthrough is short, but after you "won" the first tower you are set back at level 1 again and the tower is now bigger. You need at least 4 playthroughs to reach the real ending. And even than you might want to make a few more playthroughs to see all cutscenes. And if you try to get all item descriptions then you will spend a really long time with the game. Exploration makes also not very much sense in Baroque, because the dungeons are random ...

Of the two games I would still recommend FF. Baroque is very special and only few will enjoy it. However I think it is worth 10$.
