Forums - Gaming - I finally bought an HD platform!

Up untill this point, I've debated constantly about buying one of the HD platforms.  I mostly debated on whether I had enough free time to justify the purchase, first of all, and also, whether I'd rather go for the more expensive but imo superior exclusives that the PS3 offered, or the cheaper 360.

So then, I ultimately decided I'd buy the best HD platform of all - a PC! :D

So, I need game recommendations.  I plan on picking up Fallout 3, as well as Starcraft 2 whenever it comes out.  I'll play pretty much anything apart from sports and racers.  RTS in particular I enjoy.

Wait let me get this straight..

You bought "ANOTHER" PC? You do know the machine you use to type on is a PC

mM

Of the two consoles i would of preferred the 360, but a PC has alot of awesome games that are on the 360 as well. You won't regret your decisiion

Get the Orange Box, mostly just for Portal and Team Fortress 2.

This is my laptop.

It made Spore look like a DS game in HD that was probably running at about 20 FPS.

I knew he was going to say PC based on the title. Cool I guess.

Great choice.

get Team Fortress 2 or better yet The Orange Box for $20/$30 you are practically stealing Gabe Newell's lunch.

good for you! when it comes to HD gaming: (with a good GPU)

PC >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> PS3

now if they can only port killzone 2 for PC *sighs*

I mainly game on my PC as well and I'd have to say you made the right decisions. I might get a PS3 when FFXIII comes out. FF games were the only reason I got a PS2 back then...

My laptop is terrible for games as well.
