It looks great and an improvement over TOD, but to compare it with Toy Story, let's not go crazy

In a few of the screens it's close, in others it still has a long way to go. I doubt the animation will look pixar like though.

Isn't that what they said about the first one? And about the PS2? Isn't that a frequent tag line to generate attention?

I think it's a dumb comparison. One was made on top of the line computers (at the time) by a large number of animators, creating set pieces that would play out in only one specific highly tuned way, with a camera capturing exactly what they wanted you to see from the angle they wanted you to see it. The other is a videogame being run on a PS3 with a ton of variables, meant to cover a large range of actions, from any angle with a fraction of the staff being dedicated to animation and graphic design.

I absolutely adore Ratchet and Clank, and TOD is one of my Fav PS3 games, but this will of course just be a case of Killzone 2 vs Crysis where one side insists it's just as good maybe better no matter how many comparisons or technical analysis are made.

I think Ratchet and Clank would make a fine theater movie from Pixar.

I'd take my cousins (they are 10 and 9) to go see it as an excuse to go see it myself LMAO

Well those images are a dissapointment. They look good but not close to toy story



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

These images are not good enough!

PS3 fans have moved on to Blu Ray quality animated features, which means 1920/1080! These images are 720P DVD quality images. DVD quality in unacceptable to true PS3 fans. As a true fan of the PS3 im appalled that the game will have to be upscaled on my 53" Bravia.
