I hope if they release a Wii with a hard drive (and/or hard drive attachment) they will make sega saturn games availiable through the Virtual Console

Along with Dreamcast, Gamecube and Sega CD (if only for Sonic CD) games

That would be so awesome. I bought a PSone but I was always so jealous at my cousins Saturn.

ugh, I can't believe not a single one of you recommended Shining Force 3!!! This is probably the best game of all time, and nobody mentioned it!!

Anyways, Shining Force 3 if you can get your hands on it. You won't be dissapointed by it.

Why hasn't anyone mentioned the only version of X-men vs Street Fighter you'd want to buy?  Sadly I never got a saturn to enjoy it.  And the Dungeons and Dragon ports are only on Saturn.  Though I myself am considering finding one, but I don't know what I want to get on it except for the aformentioned games.  So I approve of this thread

Xmen vs Street FIghter? doesn't it need an extra RAM addition?

Cause Marvel VS Street Fighter was better...and too is the best on the saturn (other than MAME/Arcade emulation) :)

*Edit - you need the 4 meg cart for both.

Well, since nobody mentioned, Saturn had a couple of really great sports titles - Winter Heat, Decathlete, and World Series Baseball '98.

Agree for the first 2...however World Series basebal 1 and 2 were much better than the 98 edition. WSB 98 wasnt a bad game but that was the year Sega spent all the time making everything 3D and polygonal rather than make it as fun as for the first 2 editions.

I know you need the ram cart, but I personally liked X-men vs Street fighter better, and besides Marvel vs Street Fighter is actually playable with little to no slow down in the PSX version (Minus tag of course).  X-men vs Street Fighter on the PSX was a complete mess, even one-on-one the game was horribly choppy and slow.  What I'd give for an arcade port of X-men to Marvel vs Capcom to be re-released.

^Good point. Forgot about those ports.

I never bothered with PS1 version of any of those games. Why eat a TV dinner(PS1 port) when you have a steak meal ready (Saturn port)
