1. Guardian Heroes (Greatest Side scrolling beat em up/RPG of all time, multiple routes through the game)

2. Fighters Megamix (Virtua fighter and Fighting vipers characters in the same game, extra characters like Janet from Virtua cop & Pepsiman)

3. Daytona USA/Sega Rally (Take your pick, both excellent racers)

You were right though, the PS1 has better FMV's than the regular Saturn one. Sorry for that.
But still, thats pretty much the only thing you get and you pay extra 30$... if you don't mind Japanese though.

Here's what wiki says on PS vs Saturn:

"in the Saturn version use the Saturn's standard Cinepak software compression method, which, in spite of unusually clean encoding in this case, still tends to display more compression artifacts than seen in the PlayStation versions. As the PlayStation versions use a higher-fidelity M-JPEG compression for the cutscenes, the game was extended onto a third disc for the Japanese and English PlayStation releases.

The PlayStation versions include a variety of features that were added after the Saturn version was released. The PlayStation versions feature one more cutscene than the Saturn version does. In the Saturn version, the first ending was simply still screens, while it is fully animated on the PlayStation versions. A number of bromides were added, and all bromides display at a higher resolution than in the Saturn version.

The Saturn version contains two new dungeons, while the PlayStation version adds an additional two, with a host of extra monsters and items to attend them."

Also, it does mention better audio on the Saturn. I removed the part because you already mentioned that.

Thats the regular version though. How does MPEG one compare with PS1? From what I've seen on youtube, it looks pretty much the same as the PS1. But thats youtube so who knows...

might wanna try shining force III too although parts 2 and 3 only made it in japan.. plus there is a rare special disc that was released..

if you do want to get the lunar games there are 4 of them for the Sega Saturn.. the original release of Lunar Silver star story, then they re-released it later with almost 30 frames a second fmv as Lunar MPEG silver star story complete.. (bare in mind this requires the mpeg vcd card and the only lunar game to require it) then there is also Lunar 2 eternal blue and lunar magic school..

plus there is grandia and grandia digital museum
