I think you meant to say millions, not billions. Unless you are talking about studios as well.

selling some of their older franchises that they arent doing anything with, might be an ok idea to get some cash....but they certainly arent worth anywhere near what you think they are...we arent talking something like halo or mario.

Neither Nintendo nor Microsoft would bother buying most of them. Maybe Gran Turismo.

god of war,gran turismo,infamous,sly cooper,ratchet and clank,killzone,uncharted, and even the unreleased heavy rain.

Erm what killzone and heavy rain aren't big franchise, To the hardcore gamer's eyes yes... to the real world...nope!..

Sony hasn't been taking very good care of their franchises, the only blockbuster franchise they have is Gran Turismo. The only other 2 even worth talking about are god of war and ratchet and clank. I'm not talking about the quality of the games, i'm talking about the strength of the franchise.
