....Wait, they took out the blood, cut the number of enemies in half, and still can't get rid of the slowdown? Did they make that new engine specifically so it would be just a biiiiit too much for the hardware?

I still had slowdown in my demo. There's also a very significant amount of screen tearing -- more than NG2 had actually. It looks a little sharper than NG2 maybe a bit jaggier, but I think it looks fine as far as image quality. It is a demo after all, but it's close to release and this demo has a good bit of features that will be in the final game.
