Forums - Sony - The greatest tv EVER MADE Hands down bar none.

Nice, iwsh I could have an LCD/HD tv, my parents think theyre too expensive though :l

Way to spend $2699 on very soon to be outdated technology. OLED will be taking off sometime in the near future and will look considerably better, use less power, last much longer and be only a few mm thick.

Besides I found a 1,000,000/1 LCD 1080p TV for about £650 (off the top of my head) in the Argos catalog.

Same can be said to you kiefer, honestly.

Anything you buy will eventually become outdated.

If you buy something, and enjoy it, than you've gotten your money's worth, right?

We'll miss you George.

Obviously everything you buy will become outdated but I wouldn't waste that amount of money when better Technology is arriving on the market right now. As I already mentioned there are Tv's under half the price that boast the same specs. Sony do like to overcharge on their products though. Much like Ferrari, Apple, Bentley etc etc. They think they are the Rolls Royce of Hardware.

Would you buy a Playstation 3 for $400 if the Playstation 4 was coming out within a year for just a little more money? I would do the sensible thing and wait.

Unless somebody really wants the PS3 now, then why the hell not?

We'll miss you George.

How can you say this is the best TV ever made, bar none, hands down, when the review you posted clearly states "this is not the best TV we have ever tested"?

Haha I thought this when I read it but didn't want to be rude.

and im still on an SD t.v

but $2000 for a t.v ? thats toooo much.

Nothing wrong with an SDTV.

I love my HDTV, because I use it for a giant computer monitor, but "HD" is nothing more than a buzzword created by the digital industry.

HD only really equates to higher resolution, which is nice, but far from required.

(Unless you want to play Dead Rising. :P)

most of my ps3 games are hard to look at on an SDtv.

the texts is eye aching , and smaller text are impossible to read.

the colors sometimes go too much dark on SDt.vs that you have to brighten it up.

PS3 + SDtv = Fail
