DSi sells over 100,000 in Australia
By Lucario, 22 Jul, 2009 - 5:48 PM - Nintendo's DSi was only launched 14 weeks ago on April 2nd this year yet has already sold over 100,000 units nationwide according to GfK. The Nintendo DS is Australia's best selling console ever and it seems the millions of Australians who own one are slowly upgrading.

The Nintendo DSi offers the same features that reside in the DS Lite whilst offering two cameras, built in SD card slot, music player, voice recorder, larger screens, improved sound and an online store. The DSi is also more powerful then previous DS versions allowing for more detailed titles to be developed exclusively for the system.

Unlike the Wii, the Nintendo DSi also offers a free internet browsing application along with 1000 Nintendo Points for additional online purchases.

The DS just goes from strength to strength down under. However I`ll be sticking with my old grey brick DS.
