And Activision won't make a Modern Warfare 2 Wii version...

@ O-D-C

agreed.

@ atma998

But more than likely Treyarch and Activision will make COD 7 for Wii.
Bless you Treyarch.

Modern Warfare will do excellently without any Wii versions... spinoffs... same games w/diff controls and graphics... IW is better off fulfilling their vision of MW2 on PC and HD consoles than making versions that they don't want to make...

Infinity Ward's decision. Treyarch has no problem with the Wii. Infinity Ward needs the processing power. They just can't work the Wii well enough to do. Lack of skills. Lack of skills.

Still, I wonder if N-Space is going to make Modern Warfare 2 for the DS?

Why did Red Steel continue to sell so many copies even after gamers acknowledged it is a terrible game?
Why is a watered down port selling so well?
Maybe Wii owners do not deserve quality FPS like "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare". Why bother to make great FPS if Wii owners will buy any FPS with pretty box?

1. Because it was a launch game. After that, sales came because it cost $20 or less.

2. Because it's one of the best on the platform. Of course, if it didn't sell, people would just say that proves there's no market for FPS on the Wii. Nice catch-22 you've set up there. You're so clever.

3. Yeah, why bother competing at all? Superior products never attract more customers than inferior ones. Your wisdom is astonishing.

Your third statement sums up many of the games for Wii.  Terrible games like "Mario Party 8" and "Mario and Sonic Olympic Games" outsold "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess".

Carnival Games, Wii Music, Game Party, Sonic and the Secret Rings, High School Musical Sing It, Red Steel and Ben 10: Protector of Eath all sold more than 1 million copies.  Furthermor Hannah Montana: Spotlight World Tour almost reached 1 million in sales.

Yes, why bother trying to make superior products when Hannah Montana: Spotlight World Tour can reach 1 million copies sold?

I don't think Conduit will outsell this game.

You clearly didn't pay attention to the fact that those games sell well on the PS2 last gen. Just developers were actually giving the PS2 good games as well to balance it out. There is nothing stopping them from doing that on the Wii other than their own stubbornness.

And it doesn't matter if they outsold Zelda. Zelda still sold a lot and made money. Furthermore the game didn't sell well in Japan, which hurt the overall sales. And you are not taking into account the GC version, which combined makes it better selling than Mario Party 8 and only slightly behind Mario & Sonic.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

I agree.  This is why I am so irritated that Activision allowed such a crappy port of "Call of Duty: World at War" to be made for Wii.  I want the full version of the game and I am tired of watered down ports.

I'll take the Wii version, over a couple of extra levels a lame zombie mode and crappy dual analog, any day.

And go CoD!
