Well what i like about the system is its size and that it doesnt require physical media so you dont have to carry around boxes with games when you on the go. I just hope the prices of games (the older ones) will be quite low.

I still think that price is too high, so that will prevent me from getting it for a long time.

Sony allready stated that games will cost the same as their physical counterparts.

That's bad then especially since they are cutting so many costs by releasing it digital.

Thats really really bad, I hope that the other 2 don´t follow but chances are slim that they won´t if it works out good for Sony.

The Go! has a smaller screen. Which seems incredibly stupid for an "upgrade".

^ I think it's not really an upgrade for people who already have PSPs

But for the people that don't have a PSP is makes getting one a lot more desirable.

I thought I read somewhere that the PSP Go has a faster processor.

Fair enough. I still say shrinking the screen is a questionable move though. I don't have a PSP yet, but when/if I get one, it'll be a 3000.

No. It has the same processor for games. I think the "faster processor" you're refering to to has to do with something else. Brainfarting right now and can't remember, but the processor is the same on the Go! as the other models.

Advantages.....PsP Go high price offers the ability for a PS3 price cut. Yes......., I said it. Other than that, I dont see why individuals with a PSP 3000 would be looking to upgrade. It is smaller but no UMD, this can be seen as an advantage or dis-advantage depending on your OP. Most of my friends are not upgrading.

^^^this   for the price cut of PS3!

seriously though

i am buying it as a "real portable" multimedia device (MP3, MP4, games).  sony has done a pretty good job to come up this version of PSP that gamers been asking for (except the 2nd analog stick and PRICE).  i also want to prepare myself for the transition from PSP to PSP2, that is, stop buying UMD games and take whatever Sony is going to offer for the UMD goodwill program (i assume it won't last forever).  i think it's fair to assume PSP2 can play PSP games and won't have UMD drive

if the "success" of PSP Go in Japan leads to the release of FFVIII and FFIX on PSN store.  for me, PSP Go worths the $249 price tag.

I believe it has a higher clock speed.
