Forums - Sony - What improvemets does PSP Go! offer over PSP 3000?

Battery life should be better not using a UMD. Button placement looked better. I think it is too expensive though and not worth upgrade.

Well what i like about the system is its size and that it doesnt require physical media so you dont have to carry around boxes with games when you on the go. I just hope the prices of games (the older ones) will be quite low.

I still think that price is too high, so that will prevent me from getting it for a long time.

Sony allready stated that games will cost the same as their physical counterparts.

In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird.
Now the world is weird  and people take Prozac  to make it normal.

“If any creator has not played Mario, then they’re probably not a good creator. That’s something I can say with 100 percent confidence. Mario is, for game creators, the development bible.

the major improvement is that people will want to get a third job for this, and it might have ridge racer!

in all seriousness though, the PSP line-up is looking friggin sweet. and no UMD's to worry about is a bit of a bonus too. unless the internal memory fails, that is.

It has a smaller screen, so people with piggy eyes will feel more at their ease.

It's smaller, more comfortable (apparently, I've heard) and it comes with a free 16GB SD card.

Also, it has an exclamation mark!

And you can play downloadable games on a regular PSP, with a sufficiently large SD card.

(Former) Lead Moderator and (Eternal) VGC Detective

after doing a bit it of digging i seen this in wikipedia

"The Memory Stick PRO Duoquickly replaced the Memory Stick Duo due to its size limitation of 128 MB and slow transfer speed. Memory Stick PRO Duos are available in all the same variants as the larger Memory Stick PRO, with and without High Speed mode, and with and without MagicGate support. In March 2008, Sony released a 16 GB version of the Memory Stick PRO Duo. Sony has plans to release a 32 GB version in 2009"

so if i buy a 12gb or more memory stick i wouldn't need get a psp go il have enough space and still have the option of umd... or am i wrong?

That's bad then especially since they are cutting so many costs by releasing it digital.

1. Its sexier.

2. Gives more profit to Sony.

3. More portable.

4. 16 GB internal storage, so no more carrying around games.

5. Has Bluetooth.
