I think IGN is mocking the ps3.

They call it THE BEST PS3 GAME.

Everyone else says its mediocore. And after they gave go sport ski! a 2.1/10 They can burn.

leo shut up. Go Ski isnt that good, I bought it. The controls arent good at all, yes Lair's score should have been a touch higher but just a TOUCH, look at Warhawk they praised it's motion controls. So shut up or please get yourself banned so we dont have to deal with you. Thanks.

I'd wait for more than 3 reviews before making a decision. I trust IGN more than any other website so their 9.0 means something to me. I haven't heard of the other two sites and even had I heard of them two 9's and a 4 isn't anything definitive.

I think there is around 8 reviews actually. I was just mentioned the two most distinct.

Ouch. Anyway, I thought I'd chime in, the way you use the motion controls is, after you've sufficiently kicked the ass of whatever enemy you're fighting, you press R1, and a band of energy connects you to them, and you yank the Sixaxis backward, and it yanks their soul out.
Variations--if you kick more than one enemy's ass at a time, and you can see their red soul poking out, then you can hold in R1, and gradually an energy band will connect you to them all, one by one, then when you yank you get ALL their souls and what I believe is an EXP bonus.
-----Also, during soul yanking of tougher enemies and bosses, it turns into a minigame, and you have to yank every time their soul turns green. I think green. And you have to wear down a kind of life bar that recharges gradually by timing you yanks just right, then at the end it makes you give it an extra big yank, and it pops out.

Hmmm.....that whole description makes that game sound.....naughty.....

Apostrovich, if you pop after only a dozen yanks, there's a few issues.

Had to. Couldn't resist. I say you brought it on yourself!.

Well, hopefully it's the next game I get to arrogantly review.

See Ya George.

"He did not die - He passed Away"

At least following a comedians own jokes makes his death easier.

lol tell that to the Folklore bosses.

Also, you can only do it in a dozen yanks if you're really good at it.

EDIT--- Ask the Folklore bosses hehehehe

I got to play the demo tonight at a party at a friend's. It was pretty kickass. The gameplay was good, but not great, but the art and music were enough for me to want this game. A lot of reviewers complained about the voice acting, and maybe it's just cause I have been drinking a lot (and had been drinking a lot when I started playing) but it seemed decent to me. Anyway, I say it's pretty cool. This is why you can't always listen to reviewers. Some games you will like regardless of reviews.

I played the Demo, and I think it's pretty good, although the boss fight against that turtle thing was kinda hard.

The fire turtle thing? He wasn't too bad. You just had to run around hitting the legs until all the armor broke off. Then hit them again to knock them down. It felt a lot like a Zelda boss fight. Find the boss's patern and weakness, learn, exploit, repeat. I always liked Zelda boss fights. They are as much puzzles as boss fights.

It was more annoying than hard. My hits didn't do any damage so I started getting annoyed.

Hehe. This is going to be a game that takes some patience I can tell. I think that's hurting it's reviews a bit. It's sort of a harsh transition from the regular fast paced levels to the lengthy and tactical boss fights. Personally it doesn't bother me a bit, but it may be affecting it's scores. Anyway, I enjoyed it, and personally I would buy it at this point no matter what future reviews say. That's just me though. I don't care about reviews that much.
