Anyway, I probably won't be downloading anything initially, just transferring my UMDs

Yea I was gonna put that big named games are big in size.
But several other games are really small, like Final Fantasy is a couple hundred megs.
I have messed with a lot of game files so I know 
Latetly all the games to own are 800+ Mbs. The Monster Hunter games are all about that much.

They'll also have a bunch of software for your PC. So you can download and store all your games on your PC and just tranfer over the ones you want.
16 GBs should be plenty.
