Good lord! I had no idea this movie would rake in the dough like this. The rate it's making money is second only to The Dark Knight at this point. And like TDK Transformers 2 is way out performing the original in money terms. Perhaps it's got something to do with having a more imaginative title than [name of original movie] 2. Or is it Megan Fox?

If this keeps up it will join the exclusive billion club. Personally I enjoyed the movie, but I don't think it deserves to be in that rarified atmosphere. Then again there are only 2 movies I think deserve to be in the billion club and plenty of movies that aren't that should be.

End of the day I don't think it will have the legs to crack a billion, but it may well top out in the $900 millions. Episiode 3 coming to a theatre near you in a 2 years I think. Let's hope it doesn't do a Shrek 3.

Well Megan Fox was a reason I went to see it. That scene at that the start of her on the bike ;)

I have to agree. The robot heaven scene was lame. But the balls on Devastator joke was even worse.

It was a pretty bad movie. But hey, those tend to do well.

Proves that people don't care about storyline as long as there's a lot of BOOM!

The movie is doing pretty well. Its still in the top five box office films this week. The movie will probably make 800 million worldwide before the film is out of theatres. I know for sure that the DVD sales will be pretty good.
