So fans are not alowed to go into other forums now? And he is right Mike is putting a somewhat diffrent subject then the thread is about, and will most likley end up derailing the thread.

The problem is that people always compare ps3 to ps2...that's when it looks pathetic. However, if ps3 were to be compared to fellow 3rd place console, it looks awesome. It really depends on what angle said journalist/commenter takes.

If it hits 30 million the PS3, Sony's least sucessful console will have sold more than the MegaDrive, Sega's most sucessful console.

which proves part of the point that the ps3's "poor" performance is relative to ps2 or maybe wii not inherent in itself.
