The real amazing Chrono Trigger story elements are from the New Game +. I really enjoyed the final showdown ending with Frog/Magus, honestly one of my favorite endings for sure.

I should really get this game for the DS and replay through all the endings again, such a tangled and interesting story amongst the characters. The story alone in Chrono Trigger is better than most video games.
