Just two days ago it was 3.05 and pd announced that it was at 3.3million like a month ago and pd website puts it at like 3.7 now vg chartz has it at 2.92 what the hell is up with that.

The figures on the pd website will be how many were shipped added to how many have been downloaded.... as Naum said, Shipped doesn't equal sold (though it won't be that far off this long after release) but downloads also don't count towards VGC figures.

As I said, the figures quoted by the developer will include downloads..... I believe early figures for downloads pegged it at about 5-10% of those that bought it at retail. That is likely higher now as downloads generally provide more steady sales (sales with "legs" if you like) but it probably won't be more than 15-20%

3.7 million divided by 5, times 4 = 2.96 million.... so that fits nicely actually.

Does it really matter if GT5:P if it was adjusted down? It's still in the 3M vicinity for physical BD copies, which is a great number considering the fact that it was not a full game.

the only number that counts is the 3.7 one. That is how many sony got money for.

People talking about DD - I doubt this game has gotten 25% of total sales that way.

Mehh vgs numbers should be taken with skepticism at best.

They always change numers secretly with out any reasoning.

Just woundered why it went down it seems like if nothing else it should have stayed the same or gone up with it now at a greatest hits and target sold it for less than 10 for awhile.
