I find it somewhat funny (this is not aimed at you personally Moonhero, it applies to the most senior members) that the Wii is expected to have its hardware sales skyrocket with a single game or a few big games but nothing can help the PS3 gain any more sales (no amount of games, pricecuts or editions/bundles) it seems.

OT: Of course the Wii's sales are amazing compared to the HD twins, no one can dispute that. But at this point the Wii is mostly only competing against itself (let's be honest, no one's catching it this gen) and if you look at last year it ain't doing so hot at all and there's no way it'll ever outsell, or even come close to, the DS.

I think it has a lot to do with the fact the Wii hasn't ever slowed this much. So everyone's jumping on one of two wagons; Black Wii and MH3 are huge, or Black Wii and MH3 won't matter.

No one here is using percentages to hide anything, kowenicki's strong argument is that despite the huge falloff on sales, the distance between the consoles remains the same both in strong and weak market conditions.

At any rate I don't think we'll see exactly how bad it is (or isn't) until late summer/early fall when the hw sales should start picking up considerably again.

Ugh, get off my case. Ive always said this about percentages, yes even when the PS3 was outselling the 360. And Ive not been banned once, so Im obviously not the Joseph Goebbels you think I am.
