Forums - Sony - Some Valkyria Chronicles questions.

Ok so I have just started and love it so far.

Two questions at this point:

1. How long will this game take me.

2. Do hidden enemies turn up on your command view once you have seen them with a unit?

3. Does your squad heal between battles?

I believe the game took me 30 hours.

Hidden units will show up in your command view as long as you still have sight of them, if you lose sight of them you'll have a marker for the last place you saw them

Your squad does heal between battles.

...

Thanks.

It's so engaging. I'm only an hour in and I already love it.

I keep on forgetting that YOU have a PS3...

Well w/e, you've got the best SRPG this gen in RPG in general congrats.

As for your questions, i've also got some Awnsers...

1. Took me 35 Hours first playthrough.

2. What Tor said, but i think the Extra Missions they just put them selves out there.

3. Yes they do heal by them selves but sometimes they will need a boost from ragnid or if its the edulviess / shamrock an enginer will do.

lol, I think it took me like 50 hours first time, but that was only because I spammed the scenario's early on before they had extra scenario's that gave more xp. My units were uber through out the whole game. Then I found out there was a new game + and I felt like an idiot.

I'm glad you got this Starcraft. People have to understand how good this game is, it's one of the best RPG's in general this gen, not just SRPG's.

^- Yeah, its most likely the best JRPG this gen, i've played most of them on consoles and none of them hold a flame towards Valkyria!

^ I'd agree as far as JRPG's are concerned, but I still think mass effect is better RPG. Of course, that probably doesn't mean much because bioware could release a game that was all about some giant turd they took the other day and I would probably think it was the best game ever made. :) (I may be a little biased towards bioware games in other words)

Loving it still.

I've always said I prefer the Xbox 360 because it has more game experiences I love.

But it is the games I follow and this is one awesome game that is not on the Xbox 360 and it doesn't stop it being brilliant. Between this and Infamous, the last two months have belonged to the PS3 in this household.

I think the happiest gamers this gen are those who choose to go with several platforms. I have myself decided to get all three consoles and I'm upgrading my rig in a few months, something tells me my amount of social time will severely diminish in the very near future...
