Nope! Hearts was made by a new team of Symphonia and Destiny members.

Honestly, I think the whole Team Symphonia/Destiny/Melfes stuff is all gone. I mean supposed Team Symphonia members worked with Marvelous to do Arc Rise (from Soriku) so obviously these teams aren't set in stone.

...those were former staff members, they don't work at Namco anymore. And Melfes isn't a realy Tales team, it was Soulcalibur developers.

And it's pretty easy to tell that the teams aren't "gone." They might drop the names, but looking at Vesperia and Graces, you can clearly see the style and influence that each team has brought to their own titles. The people that matter are molding these games into what has been expected from each team.

Yes, obviously the games aren't terrible but that the separate teams are no more but Namco just picked among their staff for each game. That's all I was saying.

^ Whatever it will sell, possibly outsell the 360 version alone, we all know the jrpg fanbase is a lot bigger on the Playstation.

That certainly has not been proven.

Do you mean globally or in Japan alone ?

Becouse in Japan WKC outsold all x360 RPGs. And this was new IP compared to parts of quite big series like Star Ocean and Tales...

WKC is also first party so it doesn't count.

What has that to do with sales?

couldn't you find a better excuse?

Anyway, I 'd say 250k+ for ToV. The game is getting a lot of hype in Japan, it's a wanted game among the Japanese PS3 owners (unlike Trusty Bell) and the PS3 strangely enough seems to have a pretty solid J-RPG's fanbase.

Has anyone ever wondered why small devolopers like NIS, Gust and Idea chose the PS3 over the Wii?

It's not.

They don't count either.

Because Imageepoch, Vanillaware and Marvelous beat them to the punch?

Are you sure you wanted to use Marvelous who is publicly crying about bad sales of their games as example of succesfull Wii developer? :)

They even have been considering porting some games to PS3/X360 recently :)
