Forums - Microsoft - What does Bungie need to do to freshen up Halo with Reach?

I'd like the ability to roll and sprint.

1)I want the single player to be huge, which hundreds of enemies.  I really want at least one huge battlefield, probably won't get it though cause the 360 wouldn't be able to handle so many enemies.  And i want a longer campaign (at least 15 average)

2)I would like to have total map editor control, and then be able to use said maps on firefight, and all multiplayer modes (they better put it in reach too cause firefight sound kick ass!) And have forge way more in-depth (but still simple at the same time)

3)I want to be able to customize what weapons, armour and vehicles look like (paint editor and such) so my guns and vehicles would have my own mark on them (don't know if thats possible though)

4)I want them to do some cool integration with natal, but at the same time let you use the standard controller if you so wish.  Or the ability to mix it up and use the standard controller and natal at the same time.

5)I want tons of new weapons, vehicles, and enemy types.

6)I want MP to have more modes (a battlefield like mode would be sweet!) And have the ability to have a 16 vs. 16 for the bigger maps.

If even one or two of those ideas up above happened, I would be thrilled!!

1.) Have you ever played GoW 2?

2.) Timesplitters: Future perfect!

3.) I don't see why it wouldn't be possible.

4.) I'd have to see what how they'd control first...

5.) He'yeah!

6.) I would love to have battlefield/Frontlines sized maps for MP.

Good point, i forgot about GOW 2 and how many enemies they have.  So it is possible!!  Ooh and one more: 7) I want to have top of the line graphics!!

I think we all can agree they need to bring something new to the table.

A fresh new campaign, that should be the main focus of the game, for once.

i'd say go back to the roots, in single player i mean
the multiplayer can stay its already good.

I think they need more enemies on screen and maybe some better graphics.

@yo_john you know that dead rising 2 is suppose to be capable of having over 5000 zombies on the screen at the same time? Of course, the AI required for a zombie and that of an elite are totally different, but they could at least beef it up to over a hundred I think.

Add some RPG elements in the single player.

I don't know if they could do "better" graphics without totally changing the look and feel of the Halo series.
More epic battles (more...and harder...boss battles)
An active reload function (I loved that from the GOW series.)
A firefight mode.
Make the AR less powerful.
Eliminate the P@P servers.
Focus more on campaign than in the past.
Increase the number of players on some of the playlists, decrease it on others.
A better, more thorough, and easier to use Forge.
The ability to run, and some way to take cover (other than the run like hell towards that big rock and hope you don't get sniped in the process.)

It would then be perfect!

Past Avatar picture!!!

Don't forget your helmet there, Master Chief!

They're already changing the graphics engine, as long as they at the least consult with Bungie it'll be awesome.
