Algeria have lost 7 of their last 8 games?

That's bad.

how told u that, for now we played 11 games this year

won 3 games(ivory coast plz-mali)

lost 6 games :(

2 draw(England and in WC10 plz),

Sorry, it was only won one game out of their last eight.

Without question though a team like England should be winning games like tonight's comfortably.

They have scored 1 goal in their last 6 games....and that was a penalty

do you know our team better than me or what??????

yes i know England could win this games comfortable, normaly. but they faced a very good team of Algeria this night, and its not the first time we suprises,we did it with Egypte triple chanpions of africa and in can10 vs ivori coast

Algeria were not that good tonight. They had no intention of winning, and just sat back and defended. They defended well, but England hardly stretched them or made them panic.

I don't claim to know Algeria at all. They were average tonight though against a poor England side. I can only stick to the facts and if England only scored 1 goal in 6 games the manager would have faced the sack.

well, they had the possession and weren't the nervous team on the pitch. they could have attacked more and I think some players showed some quality, but it did seem that a few of them were just playing the ball around and weren't taking the game so seriously. I can be exaggerating, but I expected much less from Algeria, something like Cameroon.

the words above were backed by NUCLEAR WEAPONS!

we should be playing 5 in midfield, ill keep saying it, till someone fucking listens and rams this into Cappello's head, FREE UP LAMPARD AND GERRARD TO SUPPORT ROONEY, and PLAY JOE COLE!

GK: James
DR: Johnson
DC: Terry
DC: whoever we have left!
DL: Cole
DM: Barry
MR: Lennon
ML: Cole
AMC: Lampard
AMC: Gerrard
FC: Rooney

This is getting though for England...

I'm actually quite happy that Rooney is losing it off the pitch after the game... at least it's better than getting frustrated on the pitch, releasing a killer tackle and getting a red card..

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

I agree... and against Algeria that should have been able to go to 4 3 3 and run all over them, switching back to 4 5 1 when required.

But last night wasnt cappello or selections or formations... it was england players playing like it didnt matter and passing the ball like they had never played together.

Oh... and what worries me is if Upson gets in before dawson for carragher... that REALLY worries me.

true, I think something needs to happen, the players just dont play for England, they look disinterested, like it doesnt matter to them, the manager needs to fire them up.

Upson is dire, has he played a game for England without making a mistake yet?

That was BRILLIANT! I really can't believe England have played this embarrassingly badly. After the qualifiers I was afraid they might  actually do well this time but those two performances have put any fears of that to bed. All credit to Algeria, they played well and didn't just park the bus like some have suggested. But still, Ireland breezed past them 3-0 a few weeks ago.

Now we'll see how England deal with a team who really are playing for a draw and nothing more. I still think they'll do it - Slovenia's defense was poor today - but after that I don't know if they'll even make it to the quarters.

Yeah Ireland did. Theat was before they raided france for anyone with Algerian ancestry. 12/15 of their players yesterday were French born....even still I see your point. Also I would much rather be at the world cup than celebrating that you beat Algeria France by more than England did

WRONG! Actually every player in the team against Ireland was in the squad last night, bar one of the subs.

I'm not celebrating it, I'm just using it to point out how crappy England were last night. Also, your joke at the end doesn't make sense.
