Hmm, Klose and Podolski are to blame here. Good win with terrible tactics from Serbia.

Hey-o.

Does this mean we can pass the Biggest Disappointment Trophy from Spain to Germany now?

That was a shame, Germany deserved a draw. They bossed the game from the red card to the penalty, and were still in control after that despite being exhausted. Exciting game all round, maybe the best of the tournament so far

Terrible refereeing. There was another german penalty in stoppage time that he obviously saw, bottled, and gave a free out instead. Podolski was rubbish though, really selfish.

I'd say they'll put Ghana away and still top the group. Their attitude was really impressive and they look to have the basis of a really great team.

Don't sweat it. Spain deserved at least 2 goals against Switzerland and never got it either.

If it makes you feel better though, that light tap on the bal that didn't change its velocity in the slightest bit is not even close of being worthy of a penalty kick.

He wasn't talking about Spain. Fact is, Germany had a decent game, minus podolski. Losing your best scorer a thrid of the way through the game makes it hard to win. Spain had the same kind of deal, except they weren't a man down.

FUCK YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

We beat them!!!!!! I cant believe actually we actually beat them!!!!!!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!! WE ARE BACK IN THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And we could have won 0-3, we had lots of chances.(but germany has much more)

And may God watches our goalkeeper Vladimir Stojkovic!!!!!!!!!! OUR HERO!!!!!!!!

Meh - I'm really disappointed in the German team now -  I thought we were onto some new and transformed style of play, but this was jump back to the shitty German way of playing and to give away a pen so easily ... we just didn't deserve any better.

But wtf was up with the ref? He pulled his cards out for every freaking player contact. It seemed like the players were afraid to go even near an opposing player after a while. In any European league this game wouldn't have had half as many cards.

Good win by Serbia. I wanted them and Germany to advance to the next round anyway. They were able to hold on to their lead. Germany didn't play poorly, with the exception of podolski.

That deliberate handball in the box wasn't worthy of a penalty kick? Right. I disagree.

I also disagree that Spain deserved to win against Switzerland. They were undone by uncharacteristically poor movement off the ball, wasteful strikers, poor defenders and a well organised opponent. Germany were undone by a crap ref.

Most definitely not deliberate, he was aiming with the head and it was plainly obvious. Furthermore it had absolutely zero effect on the ball. It was an undeserved penalty, just like the one against Ghana, though that one was at least more deserved than that one.

Spain however had absolute control of the goal and everyone that played played well. They were undone by astoundingly bad luck. You don't have 24 shots, 16 on target, and 0 goals without some astounding amount of bad luck, so don't joke yourself with who is better and hwo deserved to win and didn't.
