Ronaldo is a fantastic player but it's ridiculous to say he's the best since Maradona. Zidane anyone? Maybe if Portugal win the World Cup and European Championship he might be able to argue the point.

i think the 3 best players in the world right now are: (no particular order as there aint much between them imo)

Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal)
Lionel Messi (Argentina)
Kaka (Brazil)

best players ever? hmm, tough one, Diego Marradonna, Pele, George Best, Bobby Charlton and Zidane would all be up there though (probably more that i forget, lol)

I like this team as the "dream team", it includes most players I'd put. Shame that the only one I saw playing live (Maradona), I saw him in the worst moment of his career (I still hate those 6 missed penalties in a row)

If we think about best forwards ever, Gerd Müller and Marco van Basten would be my first picks (outside Pelé of course - he's unmatched).

Nice team. I also never saw none of them live. I really miss not seeing Maradona when he was number one.
