Come on Villa.

How did donovan miss that ? :/

Nop should be a red imo.

Ref bottled it with Vidic. i'd say he doesn't want to start handing out too many cards so early on, probably would have booked Carrick and not Downing if the fouls had happened the other way round. Good game so far.

Is the ref a Man United fan? Disgraceful. Vidic should have a red card, and the team as a whole deserve about four yellows. It's a joke.

Interesting stuff. Cuellar deserved a yellow. I'd say Villa have a about 3 free passes for bad tackles left as the ref (Phil Dowd is it?) tries to make it up to them. And I bet he's itching, itching to deny United a penalty so the media don't focus entirely on him if Villa lose.

you are not wrong.

everyone, but everyone knows that should be a red card... stonewall, nailed on, dead cert... red card.

then the yellows add injury to insult... dowd had had a mare.

As an Aston Villa fan I do feel hard done by. Martin O'Neill has been giving the fourth official a tongue lashing I should think.

In other news Liverpool are 2-1 up against blackburn in a game 'pool could really do with a win in after City and Spurs' results.
Also Sunderland 0-0 Fulham

well done spurs great first half, bad second half but got the important points,

how vidic didn't get a yellow i'll never know, people get sent off for doing nothing

i'm not a fan of giving reds for that kind of thing a yellow and a penalty is enough for me,but like the studio said in the modern rules it's a red,NOT even a yellow,it needs explaining, most players from most teams would of got a yellow or worse, incredible

i'm surprised agbonlahor isn't in the england squad

i said yesterday i'd play rooney and walcott upfront,in actual fact i'd think about rooney and agbonlahor upfront, searing pace he has

also there is not one right back in the squad,a bit strange for such a good manager, brown is not a real right back imo,i know he plays thee sometimes though

maybe he see's milner as a right back,he seems to be mentioned as a defender in the squad

ROONEY,no stopping him at the mo
