Well he came close to it last year and managed to win a European cup too. He won 2 titles in 3 years in Spain (and a UEFA cup) with Valencia which is amazing considering only Madrid or Barca have contested the title for a long time before and since.
If the FA Cup was important it wouldnt be played out in empty stadiums watching weakened sides.
@zuvuveay I know plenty of English people that agree with me. The FA cup used to be great. Ever since Man U pulled out of it in 2000 it has been a second rate competition compared to the premiership and the champions league. Apart from Harry Redknapp with Portsmouth I don't remember too many English managers winning it recently so to say its for English people is daft. You forgot Wrexham, Colwyn Bay, Meyrthyr and Newport BTW. They are Welsh and play in the FA cup. Funny that a non-English person knows so much about the FA cup.
Liverpool are in a sorry state right now but people should have more respect for Rafa.
It's also worth noting he was without his 5 best players from the second half onwards:
Torres
Gerrard
Reina
Mascherano
Johnson
Man U are in a bit of a state themselves. I hear they even have to sell their training ground now.
@placid
well i still enjoy it,especially when teams like reading get one over on teams like the pool, magic stuff
and i get to see it on normal telly too,as i don't have sky
i love the fa cup and always watch the final, its a tradition in the english football calender and long may it continue
chelsea making childs play of sunderland, safe to say they will win that now, lol
nothing much has happened in the United - Burnley game yet
thank you Berbatov...1-0
2-0 Rooney!
7 for Chelsea
Chelsea 7-2 Sunderland
Manchester United 3-0 Burnley (Diouf!)
Loosing Drogba and Kalou made Carlo change his diamond formation to a 4-5-1 and we are so much better for it. Not exactly struggling for goals. Why didn't Carlo give Sturridge or Borini 20 minutes on the pitch. Really want to see them in action for more than 10 minutes.
Diouf scored for Man U, could be a great player in a couple of years.

definitley, theres a thread on a United fan forum I use thats been following him at Molde, looked great for them, hopefully he will be a gem for us too
at the moment, we still arent playing well enough though, I think we should still get 2nd, but atm its Chelsea's to lose imo.
Liverpool are in trouble, Rafa actually said "if i decide to stay" post match, sounds to me like he is at least considering going, that or he is under alot of pressure
