One day I will do the same with my 300 NES games. Among your list, the best games for me are :

Double Dragon II
The Legend of Zelda
Castlevania
Double Dragon
Ninja Gaiden
Blaster Master
Dragon Warrior
Legendary Wings
Kirby's Adventure
Rescue Rangers
RC Pro Am
Super Mario Bros. 1-2-3
TMNT II
Tetris
Zelda II

Good luck with Gumshoe and Ninja Gaiden those games are really hard.

Oh and Ghostbusters is one of the worst game of all time. You will understand while playing it...

Well, the quest is not going well so far. I haven't started yet, because when I tried to sit down and play, this happened:

But, all's well that end well... I won't let this stop me.

I wish I hadn't gotten rid of my SNES and N64 games. I got all these NES games free, but I had to buy SNES and N64 games with my own money when I was a kid, so I resold them to buy more games. :(

Man, that sucks. I'm glad that I've never had to do that...

If I were you I would definitely play the Super Mario and Zelda games. Still great after all those years!

Oh, and don't forget Kirby's . It's a little underrated imo.

Haha good luck man, I doubt I've beaten half of my nes games.. lemme see..
I guess I've beaten like 10/60 lol. I should go back and beat them too. I am actually
working on Megaman 2 right now.

I wish you good luck with many of those games. Some of those games are extremely frustrating, even more so when modern games hold your hand for most of the game, back in the NES era games expected you knew what you were doing from the first level.

Start with Kirby's Adventure and The Legend of Zelda. Those are the two best NES games.
I never could complete Blaster Master without cheating.

I already started with the Mario games, I think next will be Kirby or Zeldas. I'll flip a coin.

Good luck man. I also, when I was younger, had to sell some NES games to buy an SNES and games. I've always regretted it, even though SNES is also awesome. Many NES games are very difficult, so get ready to spend some time with stuff like Ninja Gaiden, Blaster Master and Castlevania (all games that I've beaten and are worth playing enough to beat if you ask me). Someday, my boy, you'll have more than 100 NES games beaten under your belt like me. :D
