I guess the more imagination you have, the longer the game lasts.
Thank goodness for myself that I have a very active and creative imagination. So

This game isn't for kids, that doesn't make any sense. Kids wouldn't even be able to come up with a quarter of the objects in the game.

So setting someone on fire, or shooting them with shotgun is fine, but cutting someone in half isn't? With the light hearted way this game is depicted, it wouldn't make any difference. I'm not asking for God of War 3. Your arguments are weak which is why I haven't been responding to your posts, but what the hell is the obsession with the PS3? This isn't even on a console.

hold up, i didnt throw up "SCRIBBLENAUTS IS THE BEST" in giant highlights. i didnt post high def pics. i didnt say scribblenauts will be GOTY, and this is probably the 4th post about scribblenauts since its unveiling. please, dont toss your dead GT threads into this. i dont care if you dont like the game. i care if you try to back up your claims with opinions and speculation. especially in a thread that couldnt be further from flamebait. did i compare this to any games? did i insinuate its the best game ever? not even close. this was a post for laughs. i didnt expect much more than an lol or two, but you gave me three paragraphs of "im not impressed" and "ill get bored."  while its true forums are for discussion, you clearly are not discussing. thanks for the vg$ though

It's one of those games that is meant for everyone, designed to appeal to kids as much as adults.  Probably not going to appeal to those 12 to 20 something males that want nothing but the most cenematic immature M rated games, with little depth or imagination, but it's meant to appeal to those that want a creative game, playing a puzzle game your own way, something not really seen in puzzle games, most puzzle games set up the situation and there are very few ways to solve it, in fact I can't think of one that doesn't do this, Scribblenauts is trying to make a unique way to make a puzzle game.

also i never saw anybody get set on fire in a trailer, nor did i see anything really violent done with a shotgun period. this is a kids game, not a hardcore action game like you want it to be. it isnt meant to show actuall animation of what would happen if a giant crab attacked someone.

So what? it's pretty obvious that was a figure of speech just like people that say "I can't think of one greater moment in gaming history" or call it "The best game of all time"

Unless you are that much of a fan to think a game you never even played is better than OOT?

Also,i judge things from what i SEE so you guys can stop being so defensive and talk about the puzzle aspect of the game since:

1st: This thread is about the video and Rick Astley showing up in the game.

2nd: Nobody said the puzzles in the game are gonna be terrible,i am waiting for the game to come out to judge that...you guys that are already praising this aspect of the game should do the same.

What is the point of summoning those thing if they add nothing to the game that is apparently about puzzle solving? Even if they added them for the comical value they failed because like you said in the case of Rick Astley there is no music playing defeating the whole purpose.

exactly. its a thread about rick astley in scribblenauts. nevermind that people thought it was epic that the game had memes. you put it down, out of the blue. "oh, this wont have staying power", where the hell did that come from? while everyone's busy enjoying the t rex get sprayed, you say "oh, theres no sound. boo hoo" you then complain everyone's attacking you. well its your fault. you trolled when you shouldnt have. i can understand that you think OoT is better. but this isnt the place to compare. and btw until rick astley dies, very few companies can afford his song.
