I'm sort of annoyed that it's being remade, it's a classic after all, and I really wish Englund would have done it, he is simply THE Freddy Krueger. However, I think Jackie is actually just the man for the job, seeing as Englund didn't want it.

This picture shows him looking much more like the Krueger we all know and love.

I don't know if he can pull off the character's personality as well though and Rooney Mara is NO Heather Langenkamp.
