Jackie Earle Haley to be the New Freddy Krueger?

I'm sort of annoyed that it's being remade, it's a classic after all, and I really wish Englund would have done it, he is simply THE Freddy Krueger. However, I think Jackie is actually just the man for the job, seeing as Englund didn't want it.
