According to vgchartz sony has published more titles than nintendo o-O

| lestatdark said: ^ Actually it's not that hard: The sims, Battlefield, Burnout, Command and Conquer, Dead Space, Populous, Desert Strike, Medal of Honor, Simcity, Ultima Online. |
Most of those games I find very boring like burnout. And all those franchises suck now anyway except battlefield and dead space. The fact that those games are old doesn't make EA look good anyway. They just milk everything out.
@Samus Aran
I'm not talking personal preference, i'm talking about games that are of quality, and those were branded in their time to be quality games.
@Scottie
You're right, I was late with my reply, so the ^ was a mistake ._.

I can't say who developed the most games. (But there are already enough answers from other ppl ...) However I know that Nibris developed the fewest games.

@ OP - Sorry for being off topic
@ Samus - OK, I just looked at your game collection and noted something weird
There certainly seems to be a lot of love for EA (and Ninty) from you, infact, here are the developer totals
Ninty = 15
EA = 4
Activision = 3
Take two = 2
Konami = 1
Hudson = 1
Bohemia Interactive = 1
Capcom = 1
Wait, what's that? Could it be that EA is infact your 2nd favourite developer of all time? I think that is what was just shown to be true.

That's like pointing to Wii Sports' sales and saying it's the greatest game of all time.
@Lestat Dark, if I'm not mistaken, some of those Games and their best iterations came before EA aquired the Company who made them, like Simcity and The Sims.

Not at all, those games were made after EA created or merged with their respective studios, in the case of Simcity and The Sims, Maxis was a developer created inside EA.

It might be Activision.

That will not work right, as we have Nintendo, Nintendo EAD, and all sorts of internal studios that get listed as something other than "Nintendo"
Going by titles published in any 1 region (so Mario & Sonic get counted due to publishing in Japan) you get a closer look, but still not accurate for the question at hand. These numbers also include multi-platform games, and games developed by others.
Nintendo - 864
Electronic Arts - 1038
Electronic Arts Victor - 51 (these need the publisher changed, as Victor is a dev studio, not a publisher)
EA Sports - 260 (some EA Sports titles are listed under Electronic Arts)
EA Sports Big - 37 (same as above probably)
EA Mobile - 3 (massivly incomplete)
Total - 1,389 - Overall, this number is probably on the low side due to our incomplete yet ever improving database.
Sega - 1515
Capcom - 547
Activision - 771
Activision/Blizzard - 35 (Activision still publishes under seperate labels for Activision and Blizzard, so these really belong under Activision)
Total - 806
Ubisoft - 829
Atari - 648
So the totals for published titles that include multi-plats looks like
Of course, this list isn't 100% accurate, but based on this I would guess that titles deveopled (not counting multi-platform) looks more like this
Doing some confirmation over at Moby Games, it looks like I am realitively close.
