:D

I hate the fact that they still think its rare that third parties show effort on the wii. Maybe it would be ok if it was 2008 but this year we have so many games coming up that show real effort given by third parties.

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

I hope this turns out well. The Wii could use some good 3rd party stuff.

Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

Although it is about time.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Looks nice, I'm worried it won't sell though. It is becoming clear that 3rd parties jumped the bandwagon too late, and now it seems difficult to establish a new franchise on the Wii. I'm crossing my fingers in hope though.

The "difficult" games were still niche (but still sold well). Hopefully this has broader appeal.

Reminds me of that Marvel Ultimate Alliance game, boring & repetitive.

The appeal is definitely there, but the tricky part is how to market this.

The preview stated the game has no distinguishable "hook", so Capcom's message must be clear when it comes to advertising.  I think the CO-OP should definitely be emphasized (commercials of two people playing together). If those "lost" Spyborgs could maybe become "bots" in a multiplayer mode, you could have an all-out brawler, assuming 4-player could happen as well.

The de Blob/Ben 10/Jak & Daxter type crowds should be the focal point of marketing. They don't care if it is the hardcore they have been waiting for.  Just put it out there.......

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

This is looking like a lot of fun. I have been looking for a good team beat em up for a long time. This may just feel the void. Glad to see some effort being put into this one at least.

I feel disappointed it's that short. 6 hours is just short, 10 hours would be the right length, unless IGN is wrong about the 4 chapters.

Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

Fullfilled Prophecies

The presentation is great, but I just can't muster much enthusiasm over the gameplay. The theme just doesn't hook me like all the action games I've already bought for my Wii.
