everytime your pokemon loses life and faunts it becomes a demon and haunts you, better keep those pokemon from fainting.

In the houses of my grandfathers (rip), everyone from the family has seen weird stuff. Weird childs, babies crying... with no babies around, demons, etc.
Fun thing is that one of the houses was built over an old graveyard... well the entire neighborhood. I remember the day when they took out the buried bodies. There was even a pit full of babies' and fetus' bones, I think it was an abortion's place before. Kinda explains the babies crying.
I don't believe in ghosts but I do believe in Jinns.
I believe that there is more to us than just this (to quote the great Yoda) "crude matter" - we don't disappear into nothingness when we die. Now, do I believe in ghosts? I think that a lot of people like to make up stories to garner attention for themselves, but I suppose it is possible...
I've seen a ghost before, I believe there is weird stuff out there that we don't know of.
