In the houses of my grandfathers (rip), everyone from the family has seen weird stuff. Weird childs, babies crying... with no babies around, demons, etc.
Fun thing is that one of the houses was built over an old graveyard... well the entire neighborhood. I remember the day when they took out the buried bodies. There was even a pit full of babies' and fetus' bones, I think it was an abortion's place before. Kinda explains the babies crying.
