Forums - General - Do you believe in ghosts?

@soriku

"Afterlife=100% existant"

Just about summed up your stupidity in five words.

Yes I do, which is why I enjoy watching GhostHunters every Wednesday. Some of the stuff they catch on that show is awesome.

there is no afterlife, when u die U DIE, thats it, humans are kind of pointless lol

Super Smash Bro's Before Hoe's

Yeah, I saw a dead 360 ghost with 3 red lights flashing in the dark and making scratch songs when i was playing ps3 really late night in my room.

Flow -"The important is to pwn other ppl"

I had a chat a while with some of the crew who have worked on the Ghost Hunter style shows, the subject came up and yes, it's all crap.

If it were a documentary then you would just see a load of people go into an old building and nothing much happening of interest except a bloke pretending he's hearing spirits and spouting a load of rubbish. It's dramatised. I cannot believe people still watch it and think it's real, but it's still popular so I guess they must do.

Yes there is an afterlife: Heaven and Hell.

Where you go depends on whether or not you have trusting in Jesus Christ as an atonement for your sins.

No, there are no such things as ghosts, although there are such things as angels and demons.

I don´t know what to belive anymore, but to everyone who doesn´t belive in anything supernatural please explain the endlessness of time and space to me, they can´t logically have a beginning or end so something is messed up right there, I know this has little to do with ghosts but the real question is are there things that go bejond logic and human perception ??? If the human mind can´t comprehend the endlessness of time and space then there is plenty of room for god, ghosts and afterlive and reincarnatoin or whatever you belive in... I just what the atheists here to give me some "logical" answers thats all.

 EDIT: @fagarcia75: What about the holy ghost then ??? Got you there didn´t I huh ???

El Duderino - There are many, many things that go beyond human logic and perception and a lot of people use beliefs/religions to try to explain them. However as they are things we can't comprehend then it seems rather impossible that we are going to be able to answer them, short of major scientific breakthroughs, even with religion. We don't know the answers and in many cases we probably don't even know the questions.

I guess that leaves a lot of room for anything, god, ghosts etc., but as we just don't know it's almost an exercise in futility to think of answers.

Hmmm, I haven't really anwered anything. Oh well, guess we'll know when were dead. Unless of course there is nothing, however then we won't know that we don't know so it won't matter anyway.

Yea I do.

Energy does not die. hen you die your energy moves into something else.

Yah, you got me there; although He is also called the Holy Spirit in the Bible.  The only answer to the endlessness of things is that the Lord God created everything.  God was never created Himself, and God has no beginning or end.  God's ways and understanding is higher than man's ways and understanding, and that is why atheists who can not "figure God out" struggle with a concept of God.  God did not intend for us to figure Him out, but rather He intends for us to find out the truth concerning Him which is found in the Bible.
