why is gears of war in your collevtion if u don't own a 360 already?

1. get that old lady repaired
2. buy a designated blu-ray player (I wont use my ps3 for regular blu ray movies)
3. if you have enough money, get an x-box (seriously, you are missing out by a lot)

sorry shadowblind....not sure what is weird...i was just telling vgchartz people that my lady went down.....it was actually Marley and Me which broke her......she just couldn't handle it i guess...

i've played GOW and GOW2 with my brother who owns a wii and a 360...but i don't live with or near him....anyway i do not own all those games they are just games i've played.....

seeing as i haven't got enough spare money to fix or buy anything....there is not alot i can do anyway...but of course i will get her fixed....but who knows when.....

i might get a prettry good 2nd hand 360 for that sort of money.....

all i know is i have a very expensive DVD player now.....and dreamfall,the longest journey,the movies and football manager will be getting all my attention for now....which is surely more than enough to be getting along with......

but i am in the market for a new console.....although a pain in the arse it's a little exciting as i've never had one break on me before....and after many years with Mr sony i might bat for the other side for a bit...i mean when you look at the figures it kind of makes sense......doesn't it...

and heavy rain has just been delayed hasn't it.....so no need to rush into a decision..

Is she playing games at least? Maybe she wants you to, you know, play with her, and not just watch her.

Do you still want a PS3? You have quite a few games...but, since the console is 6 years old, I would just wait for the price cut that is coming this fall (the PS3 slim?) and buy a new one, then you get a new warranty. Otherwise, get a 360 so you can play GOW and GOW2 with your brother online, and get a blu ray player...or do both!

but i don't think this conosle is 6 years old......it's a 60gb uk........2-3years old at the most/but i'm not sure of that,it's kind of dissapointing it's broken already....things are expensive over here in the UK......

to be honest i'm a little pissed that it would be £500....in total just to have a PS3...working......

don't get me wrong i love my PS3....but you know.....money talks......i'll be playing on the PC.....for a while.....and let's face it.....there is good value to be found in the PC games.....

Thats if you constantly want to upgrade your PC to play those games :P

If you have a lot of PS3 games and want to get more in the future repair the PS3.

If you are fed up with it and still want HD gaming maybe Halo or Gears or something get a 360

If you are are really wanting a change get a Wii.


Take my advice in chronilogical order and you will come to the best answer for you...

The PS3 isn't six years old. It's 2 years 8 months old in NA/Japan, and 2 years 3 months old in Europe, where the OP lives.
