I got a chance to play the Japanese version today.

Didn't try kayaking, golf or basketball.

Cycling is meh. Maybe I need to play some more but it just seemed....meh.
Table tennis is like you said, table tennis.
Loving the kendo. Running towards enemy Miis waving your sword cracks me up every time.
Bowling took a little getting used to, I guarantee everyone will release the B button by mistake on their first go.
Archery is great.
Wakeboarding is suprisingly addictive.
Jet skis are good.
Disc Golf didn't seem as good as in Tiger Woods but maybe I need to play it longer.
Airplanes, great. Very relaxing.

I can't see how anyone could dislike archery, sword fighting and airplanes (6.5, my arse). Zelda Wii has definitely stepped up a notch on my hype-o-meter after playing WSR.

Oh, and I want my dual weilding lightsaber, with force powers mapped to nunchuk, Star Wars game NOW!

I'd say their are 36 "minigames" but only 12 activities.

I'm quite excited for this. I'm hoping some of the negativity regarding the Wii series will begin to fade.

Wii Sports Resort seems to have accessibility and much more depth than its' forebear. I'm looking forward to playing it with my parents and brothers in a couple of weeks.

well red steel 2 is and tiger woods 10 is a good start. hopefully after seeing this third parties will get some ideas about what to come up with motion plus
