This is not an article or anything, just things I picked up after checking out the details on the MW:2 Prestige and Hardened Editions.
In these editions is a token for the free download of Call of Duty (yes the original from PC glory days) on XBLA (or PSN). After seeing the incredible success that was Battlefield 1943 on XBLA, do you expect a remake of Call of Duty to be as successful or even more so? I've always been a bigger fan of the CoD franchise than Battlefield, and the original CoD on PC was absolutely some of the greatest multiplayer action I ever experienced!
I have a feeling we will see even better performance from this game (as far as users playing and kill totals) than the overwhelming acceptance that was BF1943! The actual sales may be lower unless they count those token downloads as sales. I can't wait to play this game again without trying to install it on my PC! If they redo the graphics and keep the rest of the gameplay mechanics the same this will be amazing!
EDIT: For clarification, the game will also be released on XBLA or PSN as a stand alone download. You do not have to purchase the Collector's Editions to get the game, it is simply included as a free bonus in these versions of CoD: MW2.
I also chose to post this in the MS forum based on my comparisons to the BF1943 360 version's success, and the greater number of CoD fans on 360. Someone can post their own neutral version on the gaming section if they feel so inclined.
2nd EDIT: Inserting article I found on the subject: http://kotaku.com/5185827/original-call-of-duty-coming-to-xbox-live-playstation-network
Apparently it has been rumored and speculated since March that this was coming. Good to see some final confirmation and I can't wait to play this!

I would have posted it in the "Gaming" section, but since everyone knows CoD is bigger on the 360 and since I was relating it to the 360's performance of BF1943, I posted it here.
