I'm currently playing Condemned 2, scary as hell, only play the game when is day time or with some company ...lol

Man, that's sooooo wrong. Only play the game when is dark and without people around you.

I didn't really find the game scare per se, I don't like games that are supposed to be scary. It more like a creepy and realistic atmosphere.

I played it and I really liked it, but I never finished it. It was just too scary for me. a friend of mine got a Xbox360 recently and he asked me, what horror-games are available. I recommended him condemned and he is loving it.

Definately a great game. Reviews and sales should have been better.

I find the game quite scary...Especially take picture of guy in locker...

And the part when you are underground...I remember a place with all those humans/creatures laying in the water and then stand up....whoa..


And btw the atmosphere created in the house is awesome.

I played the 2nd one via Squilliam's recommendation, great game. I lent it to my picky friend with odd tastes, I've lent him Gears 2, Infinite Undiscovery, GRAW 2, Prototype, and a bunch of other games. Condemned 2 was the only game he finished 3 times in a row, most of the other games he only played halfway before he quit.

It's very good indeed. I felt the environment kills detracted from the atmosphere a little, but all in all it was a very good game.

Definitely better than many a rinse and repeat genre title out there.

You really didn't think that the house level in part 1 where you have to trace the path with the neon light was scary? Or scanning the close up of that corpses face? Part 1 was quite scary I thought... 2 was a good action game.

Yeah, I love FEAR 1 and 2...but I never found them that scary. FEAR 2 has scary momnets when it pulls the mind-fuckery on you, like on that school level... but I never feel like I'm in danger as I have loads of ammo and slow motion bullet tiem on my side.

Condemned 1 had parts where I was running away from the direction I had to go in cause I couldn't deal with what enemies were there...until my run ability ran out...and when that happened, I think I just started sobbing. :)

I will never...never play Condemned Criminal Origins again !

Because it's so damn good and scary. I had really a great time, but there were moments when my heart suddenly stopped beating, because something scared the hell out of me.
If you a HARDCORE horror fan, then this is absolutely the right game for you.
I'm now going back to play Dead Space again. After Condemned, this feels like a kindergarten game :P
