My reply falls completely in line with what the OP is talking about thank you very much. He's putting 100% blame on third parties for not creating a "hardcore userbase", but I've clearly stated that since that release lists encompases Japan only, it's only relevant to that region, since Nintendo does not support the US and EU regions in the same fashion. Considering 99% of this site is likely living amongst those two regions and doesn't understand Japanese, I'd say it's significant to the topic at hand.

Edit: Forgot one more thing. Since this is not supposed to be about the distributor, and about what Nintendo has been up to, why are games on this list that they didn't develop? Aren't we trying to prove that Nintendo's teams are hard at work here, and not the distributor?

But if you are, why not create the topic you want to talk about? As I said, the creator has made his point and nothing you have said will dispute his point at all. All you can do is find some bogus John in an attempt to strike at thee integrity of the topic. Your actions are see-through and unless you are actually willing to make the topic you want to speak about, your contribution is still at 0.

All games count. Not just games for one region, by the way. A game made, or published in one region is still a game made or published and has every right to count. It is not like the rules used were not applied to both consoles to create a, "unfair advantage." And (I did skim the topic so not positive about it but) someone in this topic already did exactly what you are asking for. And I am now done trying to understand your methods or logic.

You keep saying the thread creator has made his point. Exactly what point was that? I see a vague thread title and a list with no discernable release dates, missing games, mystery titles with no names or dates, and titles both created by and merely published by Nintendo. So exactly what was the point that was trying to be made? It's merely a clusterfuck of everything Nintendo has or will publish in any given year for Japan.

I'm aware that all games count. However, that's why the suggestion of three regional lists makes the better point. It's not about alienating titles, it's about seeing who is able to purchase what. A game only counts in the region it releases in, and publishers know this, which is why they don't just release titles in one region and call it a day for most titles. I'm not talking about unfair advantages either, it's merely a trend Nintendo has been getting worse at dealing in localizing titles. Plus if anything, it's Wii at the disadvantage, since Captain Rainbow isn't on the list and the NPC! titles are lumped into one entry.
