Hello vgchartz,

My launch ps3 (60gb model) is starting to get rediculously hot, so I figure I'm going to sell this on a private sales site for a decent profit or just bring it into gamestop for some quick cash.

With the inevitable slim/price reduction coming up on the ps3 in the future, I'd like to pick up a 360 or a wii right now, because i suspect a price cut will come before i want any new games.

Since you all always argue over which console is best and which games are the best, I'd like you to convince me to buy either or. I'l also picking up a DSi. (trading in my ds)

so, I generally like any genre, but please no halo. I tried gears 1 out when i had my old 360 and I liked it, didn't find it anything special, but I liked it. I'll probably get gears 2 for the discount price.

Bonus points for non popular games like armored core.

Considering you have 3 Xbox 360 games you're looking forward to then I suggest an Xbox 360 Arcade for $200 or whatever if you're not from the States.

watch out for xbox 360 bundles sales they usually give better deals.

Well ME2 and Splinter cell will eventually make it to PC, i thought alan wake would as well but i guess not now.

Then I suggest you get a Wii, theres too much overlap between a PC and Xbox 360 and PS3.

if u like shooters a lot then get the 360 and if u do get a 360 then get a bundle they usually have better deals because they give like 1 or 2 games with them
if u are really interested in mario, zelda, metroid and other cool nintendo franchises then get the wii so that u can get brawl, mario kart, wait for zelda wii, nsmbwii and etc there are also other cool games from third party and if u like shooters but not as much as other nintendo games then get a wii because for shooters there is conduit, metroid and red steel for sword fighting and etc there are a lot of horror type games as well like house of dead overkill 2&3 and there is resident evil

also i suggest u get wii because of the games i mentioned above(there are a lot more than that that u would love trust me ) and because u can connect dsi to ur wii and get cool demos and get wii because of virtual console for classic nintendo games and get wii because of motion controller and motion plus

so basically i suggest u get a wii but then if u only play shooters and other core killing games then get a 360 but again i suggest a wii

also get wii because of that just like squilliam said there are too many games on 360 and ps3 that are already on ps3 so in that case u already must have a pc so u can get those games on the pc and then buy a wii to play nintendo classics or legends or whatever

only child buy a xbox
