Forums - Gaming - WHATS YOUR FAV GAME EVER AND WHY?

Betrayal at Krondor.
This game is stunning in every sense of the word with advanced graphics (really advanced for its time, that is), massive scope, incredible music, unparalleled story, amazing characters and the overall playability, which is still pretty much undisputed to this day imo.
It was years ahead of its time and does not deserve the niche status it has gotten, I hope more people will give this old gem a chance!

For the longest time. it was Ocarina of Time...now it's Mass Effect. It has great story, fun gameplay, and some parts that will make you laugh so hard you'll piss your pants!!!

Competative online: Call of Duty 4
Campaign/story mode: Grand Theft Auto 4
With FF XIII coming out im sure it will change.

Metroid prime

Why? I like open game worlds were you have to solve hard environmental puzzles and I hate levels in games. Metroid prime still looks great today and it has one of the best design art I've ever seen.

For example, I just bought Loz:tp and it looks like crap compared to metroid prime tbh. I was surprised how an ugly game loz:tp actually is... I'm having a lot of fun with it though(more then with prime 3), one of my fav games this gen, but it just looks like crap. I just can't understand how an 8 year old game looks a lot better then a 3 year old game... Both have great design art, so that can't be it... Oh well...

Mario 64...just everything about it..the music, the graphics (3D), the controls...everything..so good

"If new things are so great, where have they been the whole time?"

Hmm... I'm torn between P3FES and P4. Both of them take forever to play, have a good deal of challenge, and if they were the last games I could play, give me reasons and extras to replay them. Yeah, given just those 2 games, I could easily play for 450 hours. And before anyone mentions online FPS or MMORPG as an option for more time, those aren't my style of games.

-On a quest for the truly perfect game; I don't think it exists...

God of War.

It was the first game in a long time to strike me as being epic and immersive, brutal and beautiful, and absorbing and awe-inspiring all at the same time. It truly felt like playing a movie.

The gameplay was also a study in elegant simplicity. Easy to pick and learn; hard to put down or to master.

The Legend Of Zelda: Majora's Mask, great gameplay, story, atmosphere, the game is magical.

pikmin ( yes again now stop teasing me )
The game was the most non muiltiplayer replayable game I ever
played. I did everything. Speed run, challenges. I played the game so much that
I decided to stop playing it or my mind is going to be ruined by pikmin

Switch is 9th generation. Everyone else is playing on last gen systems! UPDATE: This is no longer true. 2nd UPDATE: I have no Switch 2. I am now behind

Do Not Click here or else I will call on the eye of shining justice on you.

For me it would have to be Ocarina of Time... this was the last game that I played that I felt like I had to complete.

Maybe due to nostalgia... it was and still is a great game.

I game.  You game.  We game.

I'm a videogamer, not a fanboy, but have a special place for Nintendo.
