Neither MAG or Demon Souls are there. I think MAG might be a 2010 title for Europe just like SOCOM: Confrontation was a 2009 release in Europe (and 2008 for NA).

Demon's Souls was never announced for EU AFAIK and I think Atlus said they're not publishing it there.
MAG definitely doesn't wanna go head to head with MW2 so it might even be delayed in America IMO.
The two things that stick out though are:1) Infamous already going platinum2) Singstar Take That (announced title) nowhere to be found.

Infamous does seem a little odd but then again i expect most retailers (especially online) will be cutting the price of it soon anyway to close to £20 so Sony may as well release it as a Platinum title.

The Take That title will almost certainly have been delayed given recent events so that the MJ Singstar game can be launched for the christmas period instead.

Why would they release U2 Singstar then? That makes no sense

Not sure.  Maybe the U2 version is already nearly complete and so they are now going to work on the MJ version instead of the Take That edition. Or maybe the studio only have a large enough team to work on two versions at once and so the take That version was delayed to get the MJ one out quickly (as it's almost guaranteed to sell better than the other 2 versions).

Why do assume they are cutting the price, it is selling fine at the moment? Yeah amazon are selling it at £30 last time I checked, but they don't sell anything at full price

MJ Singstar would sell more than U2 + Take That Singstar combined

That just seems to be the trend with many games now. A few months after release most PS3 games seem to drop by at least £10 - £15. Although to be fair that is usually at online retailers and not the high street (which is why I do all my shopping online). Perhaps then, Sony think that releasing it as a Platinum title is the best way to get a sales boost over christmas with so many new games coming out.

Agreed. That's why I think Take That was delayed so that the MJ game can come out before christmas but if they have enough resources to make two games (or if the U2 one is already finished) then they will release that too.

It is not just PS3, but every game, I love the recent more extreme price cutting, ME was £20 a few weeks after release a couple of weeks ago

@ Munkeh

Yeah I like aggressive price cutting, although I do feel a bit foolish for paying £40 each for Dead Space, Mirrors Edge and LBP when I could have bought all 3 for that much if I had waited a couple of months.

Great Uncharted will release earlier than before, great platinum games aswell strange that infamous is platinum though and Singstar Michael jackson should sell well.

Nice@ Uncharted.

But WTF @Singstar?
