Also, is he insinuating that they gave 360 versions better reviews because the controller? That's a little too subjective for my taste. |
My thoughts exactly. And the funny thing is.....the 360 controller is JUST LIKE the original Xbox controller, except for the black and white buttons becoming shoulder buttons and the start and select:

I guess the controller is why on GRiD, the PS3 version's crash physics (dubbed the 360 version) are better than the PS3's crash physics

Thats rubbish, have you actually played with both of them, you notice the difference immediatly and the 360 controller is much more comfortable.

I had the original Xbox....and I have an Xbox 360 right now. And it's not rubbish. Look at the design. They're damn near identical. Button layouts, D-pad, analog, shoulder triggers. The only difference are A. Black and white buttons became shoulder buttons B. Placement of start and selct and C. The bottom of the controller on the 360 is *slightly* more contoured than the original. The "feeling" of the controller is pretty much the same though.
@deathgod
In many situations, yes, 360 multiplats are better. But they don't need to show a video of the PS3 version of a game being worse than....the PS3 version or, like in the case of Wolverine, claim a part where the game looks shoddy to be the PS3 version, even though there's an "A" button on the screen. All the while claiming to not be biased. This guy talking about the controller as the reason why the 360 versions score better is him deviating from the root of people's complaints. If a 360 version is better, SHOW US THAT IT'S BETTER. Don't show a bad spot in the 360 version and claim it to be the PS3. Don't show two PS3 versions running side by side, and have a spot in the game where the PS3 runs well to be claimed as the 360 version. And definitely don't ignore the above situation and say that it's the controller that makes the 360 version better.
If what he said about the controller is true, then every multiplatform game on the Gamecube should be scored as if the game was utter and complete shit
