get this one. It costs more but it isnt just plain ugly.

I agree with you, but I currently have this case and temps have dropped dramatically from my last case:

It's a full tower so it's very tall, but that means more room for drives and more wriggle room when building.

Trust me, while that case is good my choice has WAY more airflow.

There's always the Antec 900 as well if you want air flow. The new revision of the 900 adds fan speed switches on the case rather than having to open it up to change the speeds as well as adding dust filters.

I also saw a shell shocker deal on the Antec P180 case for $89.99

Otherwise consider that Windows 7 and Direct X 11 cards are coming out in a few months. You may want to get your new PC now but wait until October for the latest cards when they come out.

Waiting in general is pretty bad. There's always something better coming up. However, this time we can't even be expecting budget cards: We didn't get budget cards at first when Vista/DX10 was released and I doubt we're getting them right away now, either. Budget cards come later. Besides, 4870 ought to be powerful enough for quite a while and I also doubt games are going to start supporting DX11 seriously until a few years later. Other than that, your advice for 4890 didn't sound bad.

Haven't been very much into PC hardware lately due to no need myself, but that did seem pretty good. Also, it might be a good idea to check the HT someone mentioned; it could be important.

So, I've always planned on building a PC somewhere down the road, and since the other week, I picked up a really sexy monitor for a relatively good price, I've decided that I need a PC to go along with it now. :D

So, I did some research, talked to knowledgable people that I know, and so on, and I've put together this~

I haven't ordered it yet, though, and I was just wondering if there's anything else I should be looking in to or getting instead of what I have here.  Thanks in advance for your input.

Great comp, go for it. Case looks cool too (i mean esthetically).
