Conduit bombed? it got one of the best sales among 3rd party core games there will be probably 140k first week with EU and JP numbers combined - how are those sales bad especially for a wii game when we know it will still be selling 8-9k a week year later. CoD:WaW with really mediocre first week sales hit 1mln thanks to great multiplayer and word of mouth so how Conduit can't top this game when it's obviously a better title and have better sales so far?
so if 90k first week in america mean a bomb than how many ps3 games bombed? Red Faction Guerrilla sold 50k in us and after 4 weeks it only managed to hit the number Conduit did in just one week.

Please stop. It's painful.

Painfully hilarious.

your proof that people don't understand what bombed means.Just wait to see how well it sales later. It is only in the US right now.  If this game sales a million. It isn't a fucking bomb. Heck this game seems to selling faster than COD5 wii in the US alone

I love this thread! Amp and silentmac's posts alone make the thread. And I love the fact that Xena keeps popping up in discussions about The Conduit. Poor Okey though, he needs some ibuprofen. Silly posters are giving him a headache.

sar·casm

n.
1. A cutting, often ironic remark intended to wound.
2. A form of wit that is marked by the use of sarcastic language and is intended to make its victim the butt of contempt or ridicule.

What the hell do you people expected it to sell? Its a new IP and it received mediocre reviews. Its selling just fine for what it is and besides we don`t even have europe numbers yet. Its not a overwhelming succes and it isn`t a bomb. Numbers are really meaningless by themself, you have to know the expectations of the publisher, and HVS have never sayed they expected to have Mario Party level sales.

Wow.....the Conduit didn't sell well? This is the first non-first party core shooter on the Wii and it tanks while being a AAA shooter? WOW.... just...wow. Some people just don't get that no matter how many consoles the Wii sold; the main buyers aren't people who will buy core games. Oh well.

@amp: How dare you forget to include in the OP that The Conduit is an AAA title?!  This makes it an even bigger bomb.  You should learn from that wise poster above me.  He's right, core games don't sell on the Wii at all.  Nintendo acknowledges this themselves.  If Mario had sold well they wouldn't be copying LBP.  There's even a thread explaining this:
