I think that, for the most part, what Dodece said is, in fact, the truth. The standard for success is lower. Everytime a game sells what many would deem "underwhelming" will always be rebutted with "Well, this game had a low budget, so it made Company X a good profit". Or a link will be posted saying "Publisher Y is happy with Game Z sales", even when Game Z only moves 200K units.
According to you guys' standard, the Wii just doesn't need to sell as many units as "the industry beyond that system" aka the HD twins, because it just doesn't cost as much to make a game. Is there something wrong with that sentiment? I know I personally don't agree with it, but Dodece just got chewed out for it
