I don't think he would have dated some 30-40 year old woman working in Wall Mart anyway...

@Akvod
But she doesn't know that. Maybe thats why a woman in her 40's works in the gaming section of Wall-Mart. To pick up young men. Even teenagers (I don't know how old Gilgamesh is) she's probably a cougar....
Or desperate.
Wait isn't that the same thing?
Judging by the way that the conversation went, it seems that the mother wanted the Wii herself. I have a feeling one of the first games that they're going to own is Wii Fit...

lol no no no she knew what she was talking about, she mentioned Final Fantasy XIII was coming to X360 (and I said I had a PS3 before she made that comment so I was like...yeh I don't care...grrr She had it coming, I couldn't let her believe that, I wouldn't of been able to sleep that night lol |
You let your fanboyism get the upperhand instead of punani?
Thats a Sony fanboy for real.

Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

While she should have kept her mouth shut...I don't think making this mistake is taht big of a deal. those roman numerals are confusing to some :)
You got to wonder though, howmany people don't end up getting what they want when shopping at places like that.
Im sure there was a kid asking a walmart clerk 6 months ago..."I am looking to play this new awesome Resident Evil game that is coming out in a few months. which system shoud I buy?"...
"Resident Evil? Oh you must mean the Wii as its getting all kinds of resident evil games."

So... the X360 appeal to kids is confirmed?

@The people that quoted me
lol well she didn't seem that young I wasn't really interested (seemed like she had kids), it would of been interesting dating a cougar that works in the Wal-Mart video game section though :)
But she had it coming, it was bad enough FFXIII went to the X360, if FFX and XII went to the X360 then, my head would fall off or something lol, I just would not be pleased...oh well you never know maybe if she was talking about Mario instead of Final Fantasy I would be banging her right now lol (I kid)

The mom IS buying one for the house but more importantly, she is most likely buying one for either: her own use, or, her own peer pressure. If this was a birthday present, then she's a horrible person, and if it's just for the house, then she's a good mother by not caving in to a crying child. I'm also sure that the kid has played the games before and really likes them and what they have to offer. Plus, he probably has friends that he can trade games with. So that would be like having 10 games instead of one or two. |
I have no idea why it is being bought. I will say, as a birthday gift, that does suck. If it is for the house, that is a different story.
| Gilgamesh said: lol poor kid I had a woman come up to me in Wal-mart before, she was an employee and she was in her 30's or 40's and she all of a sudden started talking to me about video games, because I was in the video games section I guess. So she asked me what my favorite game is so I said I liked RPGs, so most Final Fantasy games, and so she yeh me to I like Fable (she owned a X360). Anyway eventaully she all of sudden started saying Final Fantasy X and XII was coming to the X360, and I kinda looked at her weird and said ...no it isn't and she said she heard it was coming to the X360, so I said it's definitely not coming on a disk and I highly dought it's coming on Xbox live, then I asked if it was Xbox Live she was talking about and she looked kinda confused and said yeh it was Xbox Live, so I continued to say it wasn't coming to the X360 (I don't think she expected to be talking to someone that knows a lot about Final Fantasy and video games lol). So anyway things got akward and she walked away. Damn Wal-Mart employees, they'll hire anyone these days. lol |
I have been informed that Wal-Mart is now going through moments where they aren't even hiring. THAT is the economy we are in now.
